Baieido’s Imagine Series
Imagine bringing the old forward into the new. In Japanese it is called “Onko Chishin” and it is a very important concept in the artistic styling of Japan. It originates with Confucius and translates: “If a man keeps cherishing his old knowledge, so as continually to be acquiring new, he may be a teacher of others.”
This is the idea Baieido brings into their Imagine series of incense.

 
"This incense is from the Baieido “Imagine” range. It has a nice “dry” quality to it. It is rich, mildly spicy with mellow cinnamon. There is a slight pleasurable burnt essence, with background gentle aspects of sandalwood and a masculine sweetness. A nice incense for those who don’t go for all the floral flavours and seek something a little more earthy. I have just been burning a stick to review this and after it has stopped burning it has left me feeling quite relaxed." - Brett
