"Sawayaka incense is cinnamon based and is like a different breed when compared to sandalwood and aloeswood incenses. The cinnamon causes the incense to be bold, proud, clean cut and spicy. It really wants to be noticed.
Like many of the Baieido incenses it has been designed with meditation in mind (but obviously has many other uses) and I feel it is well suited to those who find they sometimes drift during meditation and find it hard to keep focus because this incense is quite "upbeat". I don't think the mass appeal of some of the sandalwood incense is there but I definitely think that some will really appreciate its character." - Brett
