Crystal wands are typically long, thin and can be either pointed or rounded at the end depending on the desired use. For example a massage wand will often have a point at one end, and the other end may be rounded. The pointed end can be used specifically for healing, and the round end for massage.

Most wands are polished, and shaped to fit comfortably into the user's hand and often are used to ‘direct’ the flow of energy within healing practice. They can also be used to redirect the flow of negative energy, or to release energy blockages within the body.
