Prinknash Abbey

Prinknash Abbey is a Roman Catholic Benedictine monastery located in the village of Cranham in Gloucestershire, England, with a monastic presence on the site since 1928. The community follows the Rule of St Benedict, living a contemplative life centred on prayer, work, and hospitality within the traditions of the English Subiaco Cassinese Congregation. The Abbey itself has a long spiritual lineage, with the land associated with Benedictine life for nearly a thousand years, and today it remains an active monastery open to visitors, retreat guests, and pilgrims.

One of the Abbey’s most distinctive contributions is its renowned handcrafted incense, which has been produced by the monks for over a century.
