A small gold heart is held between the finger and thumb of a Buddha statue, on this pack of eco-friendly postcards. This pack contains 10 of the same design printed by waterless methods using soy based inks and comes in biodegradable packaging. Of all the environmental benefits of waterless printing, the lack of a moisture component is the biggest.
Environmental Information: These organic postcards are sustainably produced in the Netherlands. The printing ink used is 100% natural, and cardboard is provided with an FSC quality mark. The supplier specializes in production of fully sustainably card lines. The cards are made made from agricultural 'waste'; stems and leaves that remain on the lands after harvesting crops. The printing technique used is waterless with bio-inks. The CO2 emission in waterless printing is 80% lower than in conventional printing techniques. No chemicals are used, so less impact on the environment. The ink is made with soja oil and vegetable pigments.
