On the Back
The more you chase approval, the further you get from yourself. You’re not here to please everyone. You’re here to live your truth.
Are you exhausted from saying yes when every part of you wants to say no? Overthinking every message. Seeing other people’s opinions as a reflection of your worth. Keeping the peace, carrying everyone else’s feelings and still worrying you’re not doing enough.
In You Can’t Please Everyone, bestselling author Vex King explores how people-pleasing can look like love, yet often begins where self-love has been forgotten - and how conditioning, expectations and fear of disapproval can pull you away from who you really are. This isn’t about caring less. It’s about learning to love yourself deeply enough to stop abandoning yourself and return to your centre.
Inside you’ll learn how to:
- Recognize the people-pleasing patterns running your life
- Use the Five-Second Pause before an automatic yes
- Set boundaries without shutting people out
- Handle guilt, overthinking, criticism and rejection
- Choose alignment over approval and follow your own path
Blending lived experience with practical tools, this book will help you create a life shaped by self-trust rather than fear.
Because peace begins when you stop abandoning yourself for everyone else.
