Nerikoh Chiyo-no-matsu incense is a specially made ball of aromatic incense that’s traditionally used in Japanese incense ceremonies.
The product is made in Japan by Nippon Kodo and is based on a process that was first developed over 1000 years ago. Traditionally it was made from wood, herbs, spices, honey and fruits, but the way that Nippon Kodo make it is a closely guarded secret. It is scented with sandalwood and pine.
The Nerikoh Chiyo-no-matsu incense is used by placing the ball close to burning coal. The scent is then slowly released into the air around you.
