Nerikoh Hatsune incense is made from aromatic wood and, when burned, it has the fragrance of agarwood, sandalwood and Japanese cherry blossom. Rather than lighting the ball of incense directly, it’s instead best placed on burning coal – the fragrance will then be slowly released.
Nerikoh Hatsune incense balls are made by Nippon Kodo and are traditionally used in Japanese tea ceremonies. They come attractively boxed and packaged, so make a great gift idea.
